With a career that has taken Karen coast to coast she now makes Kingston, Ontario her home. Karen is of firm belief that making a contribution to society is fundamental and she confirmed her commitment to the area by accepting the position as Chief Executive Officer at the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce in January 2019.

Prior to taking on this role, Karen relied on experience as a strategic leader in the retail, government, tourism and corporate level. Known for her communication skills and visionary leadership, she has repeatedly been called upon to identify opportunities for growth and assess business risk. As Regional Manager of Marketing at Ontario Lottery and Gaming, she oversaw four major locations with multi-million- dollar budgets and a vast array of staff. Karen created the first partnership with an NHL team, providing exclusive access and opportunities for members, and cascading it to different programs in the city.

As CEO of the Kingston Chamber, Karen has been tasked with its reinvention, bringing it forward and positioning it for future growth and viability.
