Join us for the Greater Kingston Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting (AGM) on April 9, 2026, from 7:30 to 9:30 AM at the Delta Hotels by Marriott Kingston Waterfront, 1 Johnson Street, Kingston, ON.
This year’s AGM is especially meaningful as we celebrate 185 years of the Kingston business community. For nearly two centuries, local businesses, entrepreneurs, and community leaders have shaped the strength and resilience of our regional economy. This gathering is an opportunity to come together in gratitude, recognizing the continued support, innovation, and collaboration that drive Kingston forward.
The AGM will provide members with an update on the Chamber’s work over the past year and a look ahead at the priorities and initiatives planned for the coming year. Members will approve the Board of Directors and witness the swearing-in of the new Chair and First Vice-Chair of the GKCC Board for 2026–2027.
One vote per member organization have voting privileges at the AGM, so we encourage you to attend and participate in shaping the future of your Chamber.
This year’s program will also feature a special address from the Hon. Nina Tangri, Ontario’s Associate Minister of Small Business, followed by a Q&A session, offering valuable insights into the province’s support for small businesses and the economic outlook for Ontario.

Hon. Nina Tangri – Associate Minister of Small Business
The Honourable Nina Tangri is Ontario’s Associate Minister of Small Business and the Member of Provincial Parliament for Mississauga–Streetsville. First elected in 2018, she has held several key roles in government, including Parliamentary Assistant to the Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, Associate Minister of Small Business and Red Tape Reduction, and Associate Minister of Housing.
Before entering public service, Minister Tangri was an entrepreneur and small business owner with more than 35 years of experience in insurance and financial services. She served as CEO of Tangri Insurance & Financial Group and President of Tangri-BMT Insurance Brokers.
A strong advocate for entrepreneurs and community development, Minister Tangri brings her firsthand business experience to her work supporting small businesses, economic growth, and job creation across Ontario.

You grant to the GKCC, its representatives and any GKCC designated person or entity the right to reproduce, use, exhibit, display, broadcast, distribute and create derivative works of these images and recordings in any media now known or later developed, including but not limited to print, broadcast, electronic, digital and social media. These may be used for promoting and publicizing the event or other GKCC events and the work the GKCC does, and for any other purpose deemed fit by the GKCC, its affiliates and representatives. You release the GKCC, its officers and employees, and each and all persons involved from any liability connected with the aforementioned activities.
By entering the event premises, you waive all rights to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use, exhibition, streaming, distribution, web casting, televising, or other publication of these materials, regardless of the purpose or sponsoring of such use, exhibiting, broadcasting, web casting, or other publication and irrespective of whether a fee for admission or sponsorship is charged. You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video, or audio recording taken by the GKCC or a GKCC designated person or entity.
