Workshop 1 - Contracts & Employment Agreements
February 29th, 2024

This presentation will cover key elements required in an employment contract, the Employment Standards Act and how it pertains to worker's rights, efficient ways to review and prepare contracts, key differences between seasonal and temp contracts, legal requirements surrounding hours of work, payment of wages, and paid time-off, and the ins and outs of Non-Disclosure Agreements.
Workshop 2 - Human Rights - Workplace Harassment & Violations
March 7th, 2024
8:00am - 9:30am
This presentation will cover important topics around workplace harassment & violations such as the employee's legal rights in terms of harassment/human rights claims, the employer's legal responsibilities surrounding harassment/human rights regulations in the workplace, and additional considerations for a hybrid work environment.
Workshop 3 - Human Rights - Duty to Accommodate
March 28th, 2024
8:00am-9:30am
This presentation will explore key elements of the duty to accommodate: examples, what an employee is entitled to, what legal actions are available if the employer fails to comply, how employers comply with legislation adequately while still sufficiently operating their business, the presence of unions effect on an employers ability to comply, and additional considerations when the work environment is in a hybrid format.
