About

Home to Canada’s largest collection of artifacts related to the history of health care, the Museum of Health Care provides visitors of all ages access to the secrets of our medical past. The Museum offers guided or self-guided tours through 10 fascinating exhibits that feature the evolution of nursing and health care from the 18th century, through the Great War and beyond. Visitors can also enjoy our outdoor walking tours, and everything in between. Educators can take advantage of our hands-on STEAM education programs that bring health care history to life! Through our online collection catalogue of over 30,000 artifacts, and a curated blog, we provide virtual access to Canada’s rich health care past. Located on the grounds of Canada’s oldest public hospital, just steps from Kingston’s beautiful waterfront, we invite you to experience wonder and discovery at the Museum of Health Care.
