Located at the bottom of Princess Street, Kingston's favourite waterfront pub, the Merchant Tap House is set in a historic building from 1836. Dave McNamara has owned and operated restaurants and pubs for over 25 years, The Merchant being his first venue in Kingston, since then he has added two sister restaurants, also located in the heart of downtown; Union Kitchen and Cocktails and Baja Craft Kitchen. The Merchant Tap House offers an fun-loving, inclusive environment where friends become family. Over 25 draught beers to choose from, local crafts as well as classic brews, house made cocktails and specialty spirits. Our menu offers a crowd-pleasing variety of pub favourites and classic specialties, including our top selling Whiskey Bacon Cheeseburger, Smoked Meat Sandwich and Tahini Bowl.
